If like me you love cannabis & coffee and are partial to a wee bit of butter cream then this recipe is right up your street
If you don’t like the taste of cannabis then you’ll probably not enjoy this recipe, but if you frecking love it like I do then keep ‘er lit. An alternative would be to not use cannabutter in the buttercream.
Ingredients:
170 grams of self raising flour
85 grams of cannabutter
55 grams of white sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp of liquid coffee of your choice (or dissolve 1 tsp of instant coffee with hot water)
For the butter cream:
120 grams icing sugar
55 grams of cannabutter
Once you’ve got your ingredients to make the Cannabis & Coffee Kisses you’ll need a big bowl to mix everything into. I’ve laid out the steps below.
1. Mix your egg yolk, coffee, flour, cannabutter and sugar in the bowl until you get something like the picture above. Use your hands and it helps to melt the butter and make everything stick together.
2. Roll the dough into a ball then flatten it. Now cut it in half and repeat until you have 32 bits of dough. Roll your 32 bits of dough into balls again then slightly flatten them on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
3. Bake in a preheated fan oven at 190 for about 18 mins.
4. Take them out of the oven, place on wire rack and allow them to cool before adding the cannabutter cream.
5. If you’ve not already made your cannabutter cream now would be a good time. This is simple, just mix your icing sugar and soft (room temperature) cannabutter together until you’re happy it’s mixed properly.
6. Smoke break while the biscuits cool down before adding the buttercream.
7. Use a teaspoon to scoop the butter cream onto one half of the biscuits and then gently squeeze another side together.
8.Place in a wee fairy cake bun cup thing and sprinkle with icing sugar.
9. Remember, edibles can be a lot stronger than smoking weed so be careful and always try a small bit to begin with. Enjoy :-). Great British Bake Off indeed, he he he he.

Instead of butter, use cannabis infused coconut oil. It can be used just like butter when cooking, but is much better for you and works better with cannabis.
Thanks for the tip. We have substituted butter for coconut oil infused with cannabis and found the effects to be quicker and more potent.
Since making these we no longer use the butter cream, instead just making the biscuit part. We also substituted the white sugar for brown which was a lot more flavorsome.
