CHICAGO – Chicago police have seized $18.5 million worth of marijuana and arrested four people during a monthlong undercover operation.
The 2,600 pounds were seized from two vehicles and a garage on the city’s southwest side earlier in the week.
Lt. Bob Cervenka, a narcotics officer, says its one of the largest seizures in Chicago in recent years.
Three people were charged with
felony cannabis trafficking. Another faces misdemeanor possession of cannabis.
Police also seized six vehicles and $10,000.
