TWO people have been charged with production of a class B drug following the discovery of a cannabis factory in Badshot Lea.
Officers raided the property in Badshot Park at 7.45am on Thursday, May 21 and found that six main rooms had been converted into full hydroponics factories, with fixtures and fittings ripped out to make way for lighting, heating and ventilation equipment.
Police said more than 200 cannabis plants were seized, which varied in height between around 1ft and 1ft 6in tall.
Two foreign nationals, a 29-year-old man and another whose age has not been confirmed, were arrested and appeared at Woking Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
They were both remanded in custody for a plea and case management hearing at crown court, a date for which has yet to be confirmed.
