A man who grew cannabis to take to ease a bad back has been ordered to do unpaid work.
Paul Dolland, 56, of Willowfield Road, Halifax, admitted producing the drug at home.
Patrick Bernard, for Dolland, told Calderdale magistrates he had used cannabis since 2002.
Dolland was ordered to complete 80 hours of unpaid work with 18 months supervision.
He was also told to pay £60 costs.
