Man arrested over Galway cannabis factory

Gardai have arrested a 24-year-old man in connection with the discovery of a cannabis growing operation in Co Galway over the weekend.

The man was detained in Ennis this morning and is being questioned at Gort Garda Station.

His arrest follows the seizure of an estimated €50,000 worth of cannabis, along with growing equipment, at a house in Ardrahan over the weekend.
