Tallaght man sold cannabis to pay off debt
A DRUG dealer told a court he sold cannabis to pay off his debts.
Bryan McCabe (43) said he had never sold drugs before, but that he was desperate.
The street value of the cannabis resin found by gardai after a search of his home was €2,600, Tallaght District Court heard.
McCabe, of Avonmore Green, Tallaght, admitted the offence and was sentenced to six months in prison, suspended for 18 months.
