Four charged over cannabis plants
Three men and a woman have been in court charged with a number of drugs offences after a find in County Down.
More than 200 cannabis plants were allegedly found in a cottage on the Newry Road in Rathriland on Thursday.
Ming Chen, 45, was charged with the cultivation of cannabis, possession of it and possession with intent to supply.
Along with the three others he is also charged with being concerned in the production of cannabis.
The other accused are Liang Zhang, 35, from Belfast; Qin Chen, 39, of no fixed abode and a 34-year-old woman who also gave her name as Qin Chen, from Canal Street in Newry.
All four were remanded in custody by Newry Magistrates Court.
