Cannabis plants seized in Monkstown raid
Two men have been charged in connection with a cannabis grow op in the Monkstown area.
The men aged 28 and 24 will face several charges including cultivation and possession of a class b drug.
The grow op was discovered after police raided a property in the Ards Park area of Monkstown on Thursday morning. Police seized the plants along with growing equipment.
The PSNI estimate the seizure to be worth £30,000 though most of us know that these estimates should be taken with a pinch of salt as the police have always over inflated the values to make themselves look good.
