Coleraine Teenagers due in court on drugs charges

Two teenagers have been charged after cocaine, cannabis, amphetamines and prescription drugs were seized during the search of a house in Coleraine on Saturday.

A 19-year-old man has been charged with possession of a Class A drug (cocaine) and possession of with intent to supply a Class C drug (cannabis).

He is due to appear at North Antrim Magistrates court on Monday morning.

Meanwhile, a 17-year-old boy has been charged with possession of Class A (cocaine) and Class B (amphetamines) drugs.

He also faces two charges of possession of Class C drugs (namely cannabis and prescription drugs) and cultivation of cannabis.

He is expected to appear to North Antrim Youth Court next month.

Almost £1,500 worth of drugs were seized during the planned search.
