Police seize cannabis in Downpatrick

Herbal cannabis with an estimated street value of £20,000 has been seized in County Down, the police have said.



white widow organic cannabisOfficers from the PSNI's organised crime branch found the drugs in Downpatrick earlier on Thursday.

They also made arrests in connection with the discovery, detaining two men aged 38 and 19, and a 36-year-old woman.

All three have now been released pending further inquiries, a police spokeswoman said.
