Montana's senate narrowly endorsed a bill Saturday that would increase the amount of medical marijuana caregivers and patients can hold.

BILLINGS - Montana's senate narrowly endorsed a bill Saturday that would increase the amount of medical marijuana caregivers and patients can hold.

Senate Bill 326 passed by one vote Saturday. The bill would increase the legal amount of medical marijuana from 1 ounce to 3 ounces. People growing medical marijuana would now be able to have 14 plants, with only six at a mature, flowering stage.
